Bill O'Reilly smokes Dave Letterman

Bill O'Reilly appeared on David Letterman last night (01/03/2006) and didn't let him use Katie Couric type quibs and Finger Pointing Points to allow Letterman to promote the Left Medias agenda.

Letterman told Bill he felt 60 percent of what he says is just crap. Bill handled himself with great dignity in answering back. Letterman went on to say he can not argue point for point with Bill because he wasn't smart enough and doesn't watch the program. O'Reilly perfectly replied asking Dave how he could form an opinion if he doesn't watch the program. Dave responds with, "Because of things that I have read, things that I know..." And the media calls Limbaugh listeners Numbed Mind Robots!

Here is a short transcript of the conversation:
O'REILLY: No way that a terrorist that blows up women and children is going to be called a freedom fighter on my program. (applause)

LETTERMAN: I'm not smart enough to debate you point to point on this, but I have the feeling that about 60 percent of what you say is crap (laughter)...

O'REILLY: 60?

LETTERMAN: 60 percent...I'm just spitballing here.

O'REILLY: Listen, I respect your opinion. You should respect mine (applause.) Our analysis is based on the best evidence we can get.

LETTERMAN: This fair and balanced...I don't think you represent an objective viewpoint.

O'REILLY: But you have to give me an example if you're gonna make those--

LETTERMAN: Well I don't watch your show, so that would be impossible. (laughter)

O'REILLY: Then why would you come to that conclusion if you don't watch the program?

LETTERMAN: Because of things that I have read, things that I know...

O'REILLY: Aw, come on. You're going to take things that you have read knowing what they say about you? (Laughter).

Dave letterman never really gave examples of 1 percent of the "Crap" he believes O'Reilly speaks. You can watch a portion of the interview at The Political Teen.

This was a great example of the stupidity of the media. It's like the phone message game you played as a kid. The first kid would whisper a short story to the kid sitting next to him about something and so on down the line until the last kid hears the story and then tells everyone the story. The story is so screwed up it's hilarious. It's the same way with the media. One reporter creates a story on a snippet of what they read, another reporter builds on the story in their paper, then the media talking heads build a panel to discuss the half sentence taking out of context, now Joe and Suzy Blow watch it and have built an opinion on what was presented as fact on the program. In this case David Letterman is Joe Blow. He doesn't have any firsthand opinion of O'Reilly's program and he believes 60 percent is crap. We all know that more than 60 percent of what David Letterman says is crap. It's suppose to be, he is entertaining the David Letterman audience. My wife and I both watch the Letterman for the laughter, not to hear anything truthful. Look at who the majority of his guests are? Sell-Lib-rities, as if Hollywood knows how to tell anything truthfully!

Thank you Bill for not backing down from Dave's grade school one sentence arguments.
